As a first time horse owner, I found myself in a dilemma when I bought a horse for my daughter's 16th birthday. The horse was 3 hours away and I had no idea how I was going to get her home. By the grace of God, I'm sure, my friend came to my house the next morning with an advertisement in an Equine magazine. I checked out the website I found in it and took a chance and called Steve. I was impressed with the website contents so I called him. He was very informative and made me comfortable enough to trust him with my "new" baby. She is 8 years old, but still my baby. He charged me what I feel was a fair and reasonable price and we set up the date. When my horse was picked up and delivered, I was told by the previous owner (which was torn and upset about having to sell her) that she felt comfort seeing her go with someone who had an obvious love for horses and was so good with her. The ranch owner to which she was delivered said "That man you had haul your horse was great! It was very late and he actually walked her to the barn and saw to her before he left. Most horses delivered here, they just drop them off in the driveway with a bale of hay and leave". Not only am I happy about it, but he comforted a woman that was distraught to see her horse go and impressed the heck out of the woman that received her. Also, when my daughter got home from her spring break trip, she was able to go directly to the ranch and her horse was there waiting for her, as promised!! He made a difference to four people that night and all for the love of horses and professionalism in his business. He's a man of his word. He is the only one I will call in the future.
