As a first time horse owner, I found myself in a dilemma when I bought a horse for my daughter's 16th birthday. The horse was 3 hours away and I had no idea how I was going to get her home. By the grace of God, I'm sure, my friend came to my house the next morning with an advertisement in an Equine magazine. I checked out the website I found in it and took a chance and called Steve. I was impressed with the website contents so I called him. He was very informative and made me comfortable enough to trust him with my "new" baby. She is 8 years old, but still my baby. He charged me what I feel was a fair and reasonable price and we set up the date. When my horse was picked up and delivered, I was told by the previous owner (which was torn and upset about having to sell her) that she felt comfort seeing her go with someone who had an obvious love for horses and was so good with her. The ranch owner to which she was delivered said "That man you had haul your horse was great! It was very late and he actually walked her to the barn and saw to her before he left. Most horses delivered here, they just drop them off in the driveway with a bale of hay and leave". Not only am I happy about it, but he comforted a woman that was distraught to see her horse go and impressed the heck out of the woman that received her. Also, when my daughter got home from her spring break trip, she was able to go directly to the ranch and her horse was there waiting for her, as promised!! He made a difference to four people that night and all for the love of horses and professionalism in his business. He's a man of his word. He is the only one I will call in the future.

I found Steve through a recommendation from another shipper, who didn’t want to deal with my horse. From our first conversation on the phone I felt a kinship with Steve and I know I was extremely blessed to find him. Steve understands horse lovers. I knew my mare was going to be difficult, and she was. Still, he never lost his temper or even showed impatience. I have owned horses for the better part of my life and dealt with many shippers. Steve has one of the best rigs for making a horse comfortable that I have ever seen. I cannot say enough about my experience, which was a big day for me and turned out so well. I would be happy to have anyone contact me and I will personally give my recommendation to use Steve to ship your horses. By the way, when we were loading my mare, a trainer from one of the biggest show barns in the area happened by, and ended up asking Steve for his card. That’s two recommendations in one!

I was given a list of name's and numbers from a neighbor, who has shipped horses before.
Steve was the first one I called and the last. After talking to him I knew I had found the right guy for my girls. We live in Kentucky and are moving to Wisconsin and needed to move a Clydesdale and a Shetland pony before the weather got to cold. I did alot of calling before the day came and he answered every phone call and returned messages right away. On the day, he arrived on time with a super clean trailer. This guy really cares for the horses that are in his care. He called me when he had dropped my horses at the boarding stable that they where going to and told me that they traveled really well. I would recommend Steve to anyone and everyone who would need to transport horse. Thanks Steve if I ever buy a horse out of state you are going to be the one who picks them up as I don't plan on moving again. take care and drive safe.
